Creator of FOX, TRAVEL CHANNEL and ANIMAL PLANET specials award-winning producer / writer Jerry Peluso has delivered hundreds of hours of programming to all of the major networks during the span of his 30-year television career.

This Brooklyn native attended New York University where he began his venture into television as an associate producer for WABC-TV. After moving to Atlanta to help launch CNN’s ACE award-winning sports department, Peluso spent the next eight years on-air as a sportscaster in Montana, Los Angeles and New Jersey where he co-created and produced the Emmy-Award winning PBS series SPORTS PEOPLE PLAY.

Jerry returned to New York as a producer and editor for the FOX reality series PERSONALITIES and ENTERTAINMENT DAILY JOURNAL (a pre-cursor to the ACCESS HOLLYWOOD and EXTRA! genre). Following a five year stint at A CURRENT AFFAIR, Peluso was the first producer contracted by PARAMOUNT STUDIOS for their long-running successful reality show REAL TV.

While serving as a producer for the FOX SPORTS series GOIN’ DEEP, Jerry began a successful five-year run as a live stage show producer churning out two hit tribute shows to THE BEATLES and ELVIS, THE FAB FOUR and THE DREAM KING for the world-famous Las Vegas Hilton.

In between, Peluso found the time to create and produce a series of TRAVEL CHANNEL specials including LAS VEGAS CELEBRITY SECRETS; LAS VEGAS CAUGHT ON TAPE and LAS VEGAS CHEATS. Jerry followed up with the creation of a FOX prime-time special WHEN ANIMALS INVADE YOUR HOME where he also served as co-executive producer with his partner George Ciccarone. This versatile producer has also produced and edited TV spots for a slew of corporate clients including NIKE, GENERAL MOTORS, THE GAP, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, MERCEDEZ-BENZ and AMERICAN EXPRESS to name a few.

His most recent project, the documentary BASKETBALL MAN chronicling the life of the game’s inventor Dr. James Naismith is due out on DVD this spring.
